Your Shabbat, Your Way is a new initiative where members of the Jewish community can contribute to the Board of Deputies’ intercultural work and strengthen social cohesion. By extending your Shabbat table to members of other communities, you will provide a space to share our culture and break down prejudices and stereotypes.
Register your interest to our Community Relations Officer Hila Tsor and provide the dates of some Friday nights or Saturdays on which you can extend your Shabbat table and how many guests you can accommodate. The guests will be among the many people with whom the Board of Deputies engages as part of our intercultural work.
Likewise, if you are a friend from the wider community, and you would like to experience a Jewish Shabbat lunch or dinner in a home, please email Hila Tsor.
